- EPIC Card Controversy:
- West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee accused the Election Commission of India of duplicate EPIC (Elector's Photo Identity Card) cards for voters in West Bengal.
- Allegation of multiple voters having the same EPIC card number.
- EPIC card introduced in 1993 by then Chief Election Commissioner T.N. Seshan under the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.
- T.N. Seshan is known as the father of election reforms in India.
- EPIC card, also known as Voter ID, is not the sole determinant of voting rights; name must be on the voter list.

- Crypto Strategic Reserve:
- USA becomes the first country to establish a national strategic reserve in digital currency.

- 7th Meeting of National Board for Wildlife:
