Continuation of Ministers

 Continuation of Ministers who resigned or were removed from the Central Council of Ministers for defying or violating the system of collective responsibility:

5. V.K. Krishna Menon - Removed from the Central Council of Ministers for making mutually contradictory statements during the time of the war with China.

6. Mahavir Tyagi - Resigned in opposition to the Tashkent Agreement with Pakistan made by Lal Bahadur Shastri.

7. M.C. Chagla - Resigned from the Central Council of Ministers due to disagreements regarding the Three-Language Formula.

8. Morarji Desai - Resigned in protest against the devaluation of the Rupee.

9. Tarang Sangh - Resigned on the issue of dual membership during the Janata government period.

10. Arif Mohammad Khan - Resigned (disagreeing with Rajiv Gandhi) on the issue of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Divorce) Act.

11. V.P. Singh - Resigned from Rajiv Gandhi's government on the issue of the Bofors and Fair Fax scandals.
